This product is used to boost & extend a standard or HDTV Component Video (YPbPr) signal on Cat5 cable up to 1,000 ft.
In a typical installation 2 units are required, one as a sender (UVB1-CP-S) and one as a receiver (UVB1-CP-R). They are also sold as a kit (see Model UVB1-CP).
The sender includes a power supply which powers both ends (receiver is powered through the Cat5 cable).
